Scuba Kings Academy began as a dream over 16 years ago, when we first set up shop in Mactan with little more than a few tanks, a lot of passion, and a deep love for the ocean. Since then, our journey has taken us across the Philippines—from those early days in Mactan to our thriving dive shop in Malapascua, and now to our newest home in Panglao. Each step has been shaped by the same values: community, conservation, and a commitment to doing things right.
We’ve always believed that a dive shop should be more than just a business—it should feel like home. That’s why we’ve built Scuba Kings Academy around people first: our team, our students, and the local communities we work with. We’re proud to be SDI-certified, but even prouder of the connections we’ve made and the ocean we continue to protect. Marketing Head
Saar, our Head of Marketing, brings nearly 20 years of diving experience and a true passion for the sport. His energy and expertise ensure you get the best diving experience possible. When he's not diving, you'll find him exploring Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Ruvi
SDI Instructor Trainer
Meet Ruvi, our Instructor Trainer, IEC Examiner, and tech diver with thousands of certifications to his name. His expertise ensures top-tier training for every diver. When he’s not teaching, Ruvi is a medic and a dedicated Red Cross volunteer, always ready to help on land or underwater.
